Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 2026 • Internet Speed Manager (internetspeedmanager.com)
At Internet Speed Manager (accessible from https://internetspeedmanager.com), one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information that is collected and recorded by Internet Speed Manager and how we use and safeguard it.
1. Information We Collect
When you perform a broadband speed test, our diagnostics engine collects technical network telemetry strictly necessary to measure, calculate, and report your connection performance:
- Network IP Address: Used to identify your routing interface and assign the closest tier-1 testing server.
- Internet Service Provider (ISP): Autonomous System Number (ASN) and ISP organization name.
- Geolocation Telemetry: General city, state, and country level approximation derived from IP routing tables (we do not collect precise GPS coordinates).
- Diagnostic Metrics: Download throughput (Mbps), upload throughput (Mbps), idle ping (ms), loaded latency (bufferbloat), jitter variance, and packet loss.
- User-Agent & Device Metadata: Browser engine, operating system version, and screen scale to format results accurately.
